One of my fathers' most cherished possessions, was his Grandfather
Clock. He loved looking at it and admiring it. He was a clock lover. A
few years back, it stopped working. Dad always wanted to get it fixed,
but he was told that it would be very complicated and would cost
more money than he was comfortable spending.
After Dad passed, my wife and I really wanted that clock in our
home, as a warm reminder of him sitting in his favorite chair and the
majestic Grandfather clock not far from him.
We placed it in our home, and we too, wished it actually worked. Well,
I did a search one day for Clock Repair, and found Walt Mack. All I
can say is, I WISH DAD had found Walt while he was still alive !
Walt actually came to our home, diagnosed the problem, which
wasn't as troublesome as others had stated, and shortly
thereafter,
Dad's clock was ticking away.
Walt was one of the most down to earth and genuinely nice people
we had ever met. And, he is VERY skilled at his trade. Please take
our highest recommendation for Walt Mack, and call him if you need
clock or watch repair. He was simply AMAZING to deal with !

When I was born, my Dad's dad gave him his
favorite pocket watch, to give to me one day.
That day came and I loved it !
Eventually it stopped working and I thought that was the end of it.
That was until I called Walt Mack based upon
a referral from a family friend.
I drove to Walt's shop, which is in a BEAUTIFUL part of
Indiana, County, about an hour outside of Pittsburgh.
I could immediately tell that I was in good hands.
Once he took it apart, he told me of a few places where
I could get some good, home cooked food, and some roads
we could drive in order to see the beautiful countryside.
Walt told us to give him a couple of hours,
and the watch would be fixed.
And that's exactly what happened.
Couldn't be MORE impressed and thankful !
GOOD guy...GREAT work and FANTASTIC customer service !

Please allow me to pass on a heartfelt
THANK YOU and the HIGHEST praise
for Walt Mack and his WONDERFUL business, Mack's Clock Repair !
My husband bought me a very expensive and gorgeous watch
many years ago for our first anniversary.
I need to emphasize the word "expensive".
One day the watch stopped working, and I was devastated.
I called a few places, and, I could tell that
when the repair people knew what kind of watch it was and the value,
it seemed as though the cost for repair became outrageous !
We aren't rich, but my wonderful and thoughtful hubby
did spend a lot on this watch.
I wanted it fixed, but didn't want to be taken advantage of
just because people assumed we were loaded
because of this watch!
I found Walt Mack on line.
Wow !
What a GENTLEMAN and what an HONEST MAN !
He never gave me a quote,
and told me no one else should have without
first looking at the watch.
Walt told me to come out to his shop
...and told me that if he couldn't fix the watch,
he'd pay for my gas !
WHO DOES THAT these days ???
I went to see Walt, and while there, I realized that I was in a Norman
Rockwell painting ! I was surrounded by beautiful scenery, and Walt's
dad came in to the shop while we were talking, and I even more so
realized what the meaning of "good folks" was !
My watch got fixed, the price was GREAT, and the opportunity to
bond with WHOLESOME people was something I will never forget !
